RENTAL REQUIREMENTS - READ PLEASE

HOURS/DAYS OF USE

1) IF your program BEGINS before the library is OPEN, you MUST pick up a key when the library is OPEN.This requires a current library card. (Open Tuesday - Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday - Sunday 1 - 5 p.m.)

2) The library is NOT open on Monday and the meeting room is NOT available on MONDAY.

ROOM SPECIFICS

3) The meeting room has a maximum capacity of 228 people. The dimensions are 39' x 41'.

4) Library or library sponsored programs take precedence. Your room may be changed to accommodate library usage.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

5) Your meeting must be OPEN to the public and will be advertised. Closed events may be approved for personnel or other confidential meetings. Contact Deborah, Public Services Assistant at 721-2580 x5431or via meetings@albanycountylibrary.org

6) Food in the meeting room: Food served to the public must be prepared in or purchased from licensed facilities (store bought items are fine.) FILLING OUT THE FORM

7) Recurring meetings: If your meeting is on-going (monthly, bimonthly, etc), please indicate on the reservation form.

8) Give us the ACTUAL time of your meeting. Times you indicate will appear in the Laramie Boomerang meetings list. We include set-up and take-down time at no charge.

By initialing the attached form, you  are agreeing to  abide by our meeting room policy. These include, but are not limited to:
  • You are responsible for all set up and for leaving the room as you found it.
  • You are responsible for paying meeting room charges before using the room.
    • Government/political subdivisions: FREE
    • Not-for-profit (must provide 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) documentation): $15 for two hours
    • For-profit: $30 for two hours
  • Room will be rented to groups only, no individuals.
  • For-profit business may NOT be transacted in the meeting room.
