Computers for Beginners Classes
What is Computer for Beginners?
Computers for Beginners is a class offered by the Albany County Public Library that offers patrons an opportunity to have a one-on-one session with a staff member covering basic computers skills such as creating a Word document, turning on and off the computer, basic Internet search skills, how to use a mouse, setting up email, Facebook, etc.
- Each patron may sign up for a total of 7 one-hour sessions, with a maximum of one session per week.
- Classes are generally offered on Fridays and Saturdays before regular library hours (noon), but we are more than happy to work with your schedule.
The one-on-one format allows patrons to address some specific concerns. For example if you have a specific task like returning an online order, or doing genealogy research, the computers for beginners expert can help you!
Call Bailey Murray at 307-721-2580 ext 5432 or email her to set up a one-on-one class.
