Computers for Beginners Classes

What is Computer for Beginners?
Computers for beginners is a class offered by the Albany County Public Library that offers patrons an opportunity to have a one on one session with a staff member covering basic computers skills such as creating a Word document, turning on and off the computer, basic internet searching skills, how to use a mouse, email, Facebook etc.
- Each patron may sign up for a total of 7 one hour sessions, with a maximum of one session per week.
- Classes are generally offered on Fridays and Saturdays before regular library hours (12p.m.) but we are more than happy to work with your schedule!
The one on one format allows patrons to address some specific concerns. For example if you have a specific task like returning an online order, or doing genealogy research the computers for beginners expert can help you!
Call Bailey Murray at 307-721-2580 x 2 or email her to set up a one-on-one class.
